A side-by-side look at the businesses being named instead of you, and what their public record is doing that yours is not.

Usually two or three names hold most of the map pins in your area, and they are rarely the companies you think of as rivals. Put their profiles beside yours and the gap is visible: more categories filled, services written in plain words, steadier review replies, and listing details that never contradict each other.
This analysis finds the two or three businesses actually holding your map pins, lines their categories, service counts, photos, and review replies up beside yours, and asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Grok, and Perplexity which names they recommend.
First we find out who your real competitors are online, which is often not who you compete with for jobs. We run the grid, record which businesses hold the pins across your service area, and count how often each name appears. The top three are your actual competition for visibility.
Then each one goes beside you in a table. Primary category. Number of secondary categories. Number of service entries and whether they carry written descriptions. Photo count and how recently one was added. Posting activity. Review count and, more telling, the share of reviews with an owner reply. Profile completeness field by field.
We also ask ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Grok, and Perplexity for a recommendation in your area and record which names come back. Sometimes a business that is weak on the map is strong in assistant answers, and that tells you something about their website and their citations rather than their profile.
The output names the specific gaps. Not a score. A list: they answer reviews and you do not, they list eighteen services and you list four, they post twice a month and your last post was in 2022. <!-- proof placeholder: competitor names shown are pulled live per client, no examples published -->
Owners watching a smaller competitor hold better map positions fit this well, along with anyone entering a new area who wants to see who already owns it there before committing trucks and marketing budget to the move.
Owners who are losing to a company they consider smaller. An electrical contractor with fifteen years in town watching a two-truck outfit hold the top pin in four neighborhoods wants to know exactly what that outfit did. This shows it.
It also fits owners entering a new area. Before you commit trucks to Camas, look at who already owns the map there and how hard that position would be to move.
And it fits anyone about to be sold a package. When a salesperson tells you your competitors are crushing you, this is how you check whether that is true and by how much.
This is not the fix list for your own profile. That is the Google Business Profile Audit & Consultation. This one looks outward.
Share your business name, service area, and two or three suspected competitors with no card and no contract, and the grid runs first, often replacing at least one guess with a name you had not considered.
Give us your business name, your service area, and the two or three companies you think are the problem. No card, no contract, delivered within 24 hours.
We run the grid first, because the data usually replaces at least one of your guesses with a name you had not considered.
Then we build the comparison table and write a short read of it, marking which gaps are cheap to close and which would take a year of steady work. Review counts fall in the second group, and no one can shortcut them honestly.
You keep the analysis. If you want the gaps closed, we will quote that separately, and you are welcome to hand the document to whoever you like instead.
Analyses run for businesses across Vancouver, Portland, Camas, Washougal, Orchards, Hazel Dell, Minnehaha, and Cascade Park, with Oregon and Clark County comparisons kept separate since competitive sets shift sharply across the river, from Vancouver, WA 98664 since 2012.
